We work with Drupal, WordPress and Salesforce — the platforms most nonprofits already use — and build custom solutions when off-the-shelf tools aren't enough.

Introducing Lahjoitin.fi
Making donating effortless
Lahjoitin.fi is our own SaaS product: a lightweight and reliable online donation solution for Finnish nonprofits
and organisations. It lets you collect both one-time and recurring donations directly on your own website, with a
look that matches your brand.
Donors can pay with Finnish online banking, credit cards or MobilePay. Ready-made plugins for WordPress and Drupal,
CRM integrations such as Salesforce and an open API make it easy to fit Lahjoitin into your existing tools, and all
data is handled in compliance with GDPR. We built Lahjoitin together with the organisations who use it, so it
solves real fundraising needs.

Need extra capacity for a demanding project, a second opinion on your architecture, or help with a Drupal, WordPress, Symfony or
React codebase? We take on subcontracting and consulting with flexible arrangements tailored to your needs.

We work for causes we believe in. Most of our clients are nonprofits, and several of us started our careers inside them. We know what a broken donation form or a failed migration means for an organisation's mission.
We believe that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing well. Rather than settling for temporary fixes or hasty solutions, we draw on years of combined experience to deliver top-notch solutions from start to finish.
No tech background needed. We see the big picture and explain things without jargon. But if tech-speak is your language, we're happy to speak it.
A small team of seniors, no layers in between. You talk directly with the people who build and maintain your systems. You can focus on your mission and leave the tech to us.
Giving back
We put our money where our values are. For the past two years, we have used 3% of our turnover — not just
our profit — to sponsor open-source projects on GitHub. The software we build every day stands on the
shoulders of open-source maintainers, and we want to help keep that work sustainable.
Each year we have donated the same amount, another 3% of our turnover, to Luonnonperintösäätiö (the Finnish
Natural Heritage Foundation), which permanently protects Finnish forests and other valuable natural habitats. We
plan to keep doing both.
On top of that, we do a lot of pro bono and low‑bono work for nonprofits whose budgets don't match the size of
their mission.

Founder & CEO
Kalle Vuorjoki

I've been doing professional software development since 2006. I think what sets me apart as a developer is my patience and tenacity in solving problems. That's fundamentally what this job is about. That's what we offer our clients, too — a deep commitment to finding the best solutions for them. I'm proud of the team I've built. We share the same set of values and are deeply committed to our craft. Besides our own projects, we do subcontracting for software houses. Over the years, we've worked with numerous public and private organisations in Finland and across Europe.
Looking ahead, I'm excited about taking on more of our own projects, like our SaaS product Lahjoitin.fi.

Project Manager & UX Designer
Mikaela Lindfors
M.Sc., Certified Scrum Master
As a Project Manager & UX Designer, I work at the crossroads of planning, design, and development. My role is to ensure that projects stay on track and that the end result is both functional and user-friendly.
With a background in UX design and front-end development, I'm comfortable moving between big-picture thinking and hands-on detail work — and I also contribute to development when needed. Clear communication, a user-centered mindset, and technical understanding help me connect the dots between teams, keeping both the process and the product aligned.

Senior Full-Stack Developer
Santeri Hurnanen
B.Sc.
I taught myself to code, which is how I landed my first tech job, taking care of website and systems support at an animal rights nonprofit. I've also studied computer science, electronics, and electrical engineering at university.
With eight years of experience under my belt, I mainly focus on Drupal but have a strong understanding of multiple programming languages. Architectural expertise is definitely one of my strengths: I design and implement large-scale projects and work on a wide range of projects, from websites to fundraising systems and complex integrations.
I love using my tech skills to make a positive impact. Coding might not be the most visible form of activism, but, for example, maintaining systems like donation software is essential for the success of NGOs.
Colleagues are the best part of Fame. I also enjoy the variety: working with nonprofits as well as consulting on challenging software projects.
